The Disappearance of Biblical Language as a Sign of Ethical and Spiritual Confusion

One of the clearest indicators of ethical—and therefore spiritual—confusion is the quiet disappearance of biblical language.   Words that once carried the weight of God’s moral universe—good, evil, holiness, sin, virtue, consequence—have been replaced by a new vocabulary that feels comforting but carries no doctrinal substance.
