Yet for many believers today, sincerity has become the substitute for faith. If I feel deeply, if I mean it honestly, if I experience something spiritually significant, then I assume I am living by faith. But sincerity without submission is not faith. Emotion without obedience is not faith. Experience without allegiance is not faith. These things may accompany faith, but they cannot define it.
